GOOD TO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE REGARDING LEGIONAIRES

the course is concise and straight to the point . emphasising only on what is important about the legionella awareness ' clear explanation make it easy to understand .

I have learnt a lot about this disease. I have learnt that Legionella is most effective during the Summer & Early Autumn as most illnesses & diseases happen during the winter & colder weather. I have also learnt that having small droplets of water which has bacteria in can make this disease very deadly & most commonly male people suffer from this. I have also learnt that Antibiotics can cure this disease.

However the RIDDOR question on the test is I feel is misleading if someone was to become infected from a poorly maintained system in the work place and was in hospital with legionella then this would be a RIDDOR even if they had not worked on the system themselves.

Probably OK, takes a while to get going / get relevant for us but section 2 starts to get there. Our people need to check local urn and tap temps and pipes / tanks mainly. I also noticed the RA being checked looks odd when referring to "drinking water" for "tourists" however am not sure that is correct

Straight forward informative course that outlines all parameters of this disease.
