This training made me realise there is more to legionella than I thought and that it can be present in all kinds of environments providing the conditions are right. This has prompted me to undertake a proper risk assessment by a competent person in the building I am responsible for.
This helped me understand about Legionella and about the risks and preventative measures to stop an outbreak and what symptoms to look for.
having had an outbreak in a store that I visited the week that it all started with a hot tub that was on display that caused quite a few people to go down with it was an eye opener.
