3/5
Easy to use course

A lot of reinforcing what you already know, but making you think and making minor changes to the work environment.

4/5
Easy to understand and clear messages

The Health and Safety for Homeworkers course was easy to understand and gave out clear messages of what is important when working at home. In particular, I found the sections on lifting and carrying, posture and use of laptop, use of electrical equipment and fire safety information most helpful.

3/5
Long

I think, Health and Safety should be broken up as a lot of this was generic health and safety which could have been done separately and then home workers could have done the extra bit

3/5
Convenient and simple to use

Easy to follow examples, and having the transcript meant I could run through it more quickly than just watching the slides

Useful

A bit long winded

3/5
Comprehensive and informative

This course covers the whole range of homeworking issues, and provides simple instructions advice and guidance. The only weakness is that it doesn't really go into the risk assessment process, which is rather more complex than the brief glance at a generic document. That said, I speak from a H&S practitioner's viewpoint, so I am more likely to pick up such minor issues.
