An extremely long piece of training which was useful in parts.

I think the training was unnecessarily long and could have been better summarised. Focus on a short summary of the key points for each section and only offer additional materials for further explanation when participants get questions wrong or as optional additional materials.

This course is far too detailed for a general fire warden as used at Moray College. Whilst the information is interesting it goes into more detail than is necessary and therefore it is not as effective as it could be.

Overall good content, good use of multi-media, and very good knowledge-check MCQs. Learning outcomes were achieved for me.I felt it could have been made shorter without losing any key learning points, which would have made it more effective as a training session for corporate organisations (i.e. I found it useful, but thought it took more of my time than it needed to). Some of the sections seem slightly repetitive and some could definitely have been edited more without losing anything (e.g. the film of the people responding to a fire alarm and their testimonials).

Eliminate surplus slides (those introducing a new topic, those which contain little information) and divide those with too much information up more effectively)

Explanations could be clearer and more relevant. Some questions on the test are worded badly.

I'm not even a Fire Warden, but I completed this training so that I would not keep getting reminders about 'incomplete training'. This course is far too long and risks sending the viewer to sleep. I think the really important stuff about fires and what extinguishers to use (and NOT use) could be distilled down into a much snappier, more memorable presentation.
