Very enlightening programme that puts forward information to take in and digest. The information on the different types of fires and fire impliments to combat different fires especially.
Doesn't get tangled up with too heavy explanations and technical jargon whilst placing sufficient emphasis on the relevance for personal safety and immediate response as being paramount in potentially saving lives. Just a comment from my days of conducting Safety Training/Inductions - when I came to defining immediate vacation of working areas/office facilities, one chap said that he had to pick up his car keys as he had just bought an new car. My response was that the new car was simply a piece of metal which could be replaced whereas his arms, legs, torso could not ! - he accepted my justification without further question.
I enjoyed the interactive parts to help understand the information presented. It made me get up and check exits and extinguishers and fire alarm points.
This programme was easy to understand and informative. However it would have been helpful if the subtitles box could have been placed so as not to interfer with the information box.
I am better informed about the different ways fire start and spread
It gives a insight review on the Fire Awareness. It is easy to learn and useful in daily life.
The course covers a good range of relevant subjects. The only thing that I would add is something to show people just how quickly fire and smoke can spread as this lack of understanding is often what leads to complacency during an alarm
The course is very well presented and is in layman's terms, the sections are easy to follow and you can complete the course in your own time.
Very informative. I have not done a fire awareness programme like this before, have only done paper programmes in working environments.
Straight forward and clear information
