This is a VERY basic introduction and overview to one side of electrical safety, why is it promoted across the system and in the videos using the words "Electrical Safety training" and used as a training course? This should not replace proper training given by experts within the field and should go hand in hand with proper First aid training in the workplace. This needs to be addressed and the title should be "Basic Introduction to Electrical Safety" and a certificate is produced at the end stating This user scored xx% based on 20 questions from observation of 30 mins of pre-recorded videos. This certificate does not replace proper training that should be given to employers and employees.
Unfortunately the training course did not provide me with any useful information to benefit my role, or improve my knowledge or current understanding of Electrical Safety. I would say this course would benefit retail staff, but not Engineers.
I appreciate electical safety is important, but we all use it at home and don't need to spend 30mins to be told how to such eggs, a few key facts is all we need.
One question from memory, "which of these voltages are classed as high voltage? 230V / 600V / 720V". None of them are high voltage, high voltage is >1000V AC. 50-1000V AC is low voltage, and <50V AC is extra low voltage.
Odd content...jump from your car & shuffle/a 3 amp fuse is red/hot things burn/water and electricity don't mix. What is the purpose of this course? Who is it aimed at?
