The examples and presentations were first class. I should have had this training with my first desktop (1995).
Covers everything and explains very well.
The DSE Training (Display Screen Equipment) has taught me about the importance of following the procedures to prevent any injury or strains on the muscles in the body, It has taught me how to correctly position my body and how to stretch my body also to take regular breaks when necessary.
A well paced and thorough guide to DSE use (something like this would have been useful 20 years ago but I suspect that a lot of the advice only came to light through trail an error - as it does with most things!)
Important information on posture when using DSE, how to set your workstation up correctly to prevent aches and pains etc plus having the correct furniture to make posture etc easier to attain. Really good information on breaks and why you need to take them plus the 20/20/20 rule for your eyes which is of great importance to help prevent headaches, migraines and eyestrain. Valuable information on having your laptop at the correct height to match the way your eyes read by having a riser to ensure its at the correct reading height. Great course!
The course gave great information on how to prevent aches, pains, eyestrain and also have good posture. The exercises were very useful as were the break patterns to move and the 20/20/20 rule to re-focus and rest your eyes. Really useful information and guidance on how your workstation should be set up to prevent any issues inc. the correct type of chair, having a riser for your laptop so it is the correct height for your eyes to read and to also to prevent neck ache.
Very easy to follow, and not complicated or convoluted.
