boring, unrealistic in places
I do feel like i know enough to be able to function safely in an office environment, however I knew all of thise before viewing the information and therefore found it quite tedious.
I found the DSE Training Package extremely easy to follow with excellent information - and I especially liked the "desk exercises". I'd recommend iHASCO's Training Packages to anyone. They're very affordable - in fact excellent value for money - and very well presented.
Whilst the information regarding posture was very good, overall this training was much more suitable for office based staff than field based staff
It was interesting and very easy to follow
A little to long especially the questionnaire
If you wear varifocal glasses (so you have to look at the screen through the lower portion of your lenses), and/or don't touch type (so you look at the keyboard a lot), it makes no sense to have the top of your screen at eye level. If I have my screen that high, I have to tilt my head backwards, leading to severe neck strain.
Good training programme covers all aspects thoroughly at the right level for everyone and not too in depth, worthwhile.
The course was useful, particularly to allow a risk assessment to be carried out.
I found this to be a helpful training programme and have used what I have learned to adjust my work station at home and at work. It was a good reminder of good practice and the risk assessment is a useful feature. I have rolled this out to my colleague to complete before our next meeting to address any concerns they have about their work station.
