I found the course very informative and it gave me further insight into the policies and procedures involving Misuse of Drugs Act. The course gave me a refresher and an overview of drugs and there various forms and effects.I particularly found the course anti-oppressive in the way it promoted an approach of being non judgemental and for staff to understand more how drug use is diverse and can impact on many people, there family members or friends as well as people we work with.

Overall a really good course;well timed with information that kept me engaged throughout and delivered the key points regarding alcohol and drug abuse in a clear and concise way. The test at the end is a good way to know whether you have took the information on board, really impressive.
I found the course really worthwhile and very informative. I have worked in the drug and alcohol field previously - I feel the content is really good.
