Not detailed enough

Content is very limited compared to UKATA courses I’ve done previously. As a supervisor I think this would be sufficient as a refresher if a full course had been completed within 3 years.

wrong instructions given on disturbance

wrong instructions given on disturbance of asbestos you are potentially exposing someone to the dust

Almost pointless

Repetative and lots of filler

Quite obviously just training to tick a legal box. Very repetitive, lots of filler (why do I need to know about Romans using it). Could have been half the length or less to give the same level of useful information.

No good on a mobile

I like the concept, but a found using my work mobile to be slow clunky and time consuming. This is realy for at home or work where you have a good broadband connection, the videos buffered even though I had good phone signal or they would miss parts out. It took a whole hour to go through the 18 videos. The test was fairly easy but you dont get a chance to correct your selection once selected if you accidentally clicked on the wrong answer and I found it was unavoidable as you have to touch the screen to view all the questions as they dont fit on one page.

This is very tedious

Why does this need to be done every year!!! 2 to 3 years is ample

Hard to follow

Could not get out of transcript. Went round in circles.

Not sure what I have been made aware off

If the goal is to make people be able to idenfiy PACM's and ACM's, so as to obviate themselve potneially becoming contaminated or contaminating their loved ones or their work mates, I think this course fails. I am aware of teh illensses and how long they have been in the buidling industry, although that is also widely know. I am not sure how this reduces the likelihood of someone inexperienced in site demolition or cosntruction projects to be able to know when they may come across PACM's

Rather superficial.

I'm surprised an Asbestos Awareness course, in the building industry, doesn't mention the types of asbestos surveys (management or R&D). Nor anything on how to manage asbestos removal works, HSE notifications and periods, etc.All-in-all, a bit superficial for our requirements. The test was very basic..!But the pace of presentation was reasonable and clear.
