SECTION 2

In this second section, users will be given 4 actionable steps that they can take to begin practising mindfulness. These tips and exercises will be for staff to use throughout their day, so they can get the most out of mindfulness immediately and as often as they need to.

About this course

Mindfulness can be used to keep people focused on the present, which can help them in achieving peace and calm when they need it most.

76.2% of people who use mindfulness techniques do so to maintain general wellness (Nature) and 35% use mindfulness techniques to reduce stress (NCBI).

This course equips the user with all the information they need to understand the importance of mindfulness and practice it in order to reap the benefits, which include:

  • Feeling more positive
  • A growth in your confidence
  • Develop more meaningful relationships
  • Reduce stress and anxiety throughout your day
  • Lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, and treat sleeping difficulties

Mindfulness derives from a significant element of Buddhist traditions and became a popular interest in the western world in the 1990's.

Mindfulness is a soft skill that's rapidly growing in popularity, to learn more about what soft skills are and why they are important, download our free white paper today.
