An important and resourceful course
This learning is really positive as it helps to normalise and increase awareness of mental health and the impact it can have on us. I particularly liked the use of mindfulness and think that this is something we can all incorporate into our daily lives.

A reminder that we all feel stressed from time to time. It is important to listen to your body and stay in the present moment. A useful course to remind us that we are not alone and the power of positive thinking.
It's a start in the right direction
I personally wouldn't feel comfortable going to any manager, or HR about a mental health problem as I don't feel the company has provided the training for them. As sufferer of depression, and loosing one of my closest friends to the illness I'm keen that the company gets the correct training for the mental health first aiders, and post notices up of who they are so the staff who are suffering, know who to turn to.
