Very good course
The course manages to cover all the important and basic instructions needed to provide adequate cover in this particular area. It also highlights a few basic errors that could be made by an untrained person with disastrous results i.e. using the incorrect type of fire extinguisher which could cause more harm/damage than good. The course is short enough not to be boring but at the same time covers a lot of important points. It also gives clear and easy to understand instructions of the duties of a Fire Warden should the occasion arise when they are needed to act.

This was easy to follow and absorb
I liked it as it covered what I needed it to for our purposes, clearly and succinctly. There is just one thing & it is similar to when I commented on Fire Awareness 3-4 years ago. It is not necessary in all circumstances to carry out a roll call in the event of an evacuation. I our process the wardens are responsible for small clearly defined areas. i.e 2-3 rooms only. As long as these are clear there is no need for the roll call. I believe in the Fire Awareness course you amended it to make reference to "your organisation's procedure where it differs" or something similar. I believe the FW course should also.

Although the content is easy to follow and very concise, the overall training is far too long.

It was very effective in showing how fires are caused. The section on human behaviour and fire extinguishers was particularly interesting.

Very well presented and clear
This is the first time I have had Fire Warden (Marshal) training and I thought the presentation was very well presented and clear. The test questions were very good too.
