About this course

Conflict is part of our daily lives and it can have a very negative impact on our relationships. However, well-managed conflict can bring about positive change. It has been found that 85% of employees deal with conflict at work at some point, and 29% of employees deal with it almost constantly.

The ability to communicate successfully is among the most sought-after soft skills in the workplace, whether you’re dealing with the differences or demands of your employees, colleagues, managers, suppliers or clients.

Conflict can arise in any organisation and in any industry - anywhere where people who have different beliefs, opinions and ways of working are sharing the same space! Whether it’s just two individuals or a group of people.

A conflict that is handled poorly, or not handled at all, can cause irreparable damage to your organisation's productivity and reputation. Hence why Conflict Resolution Training is essential for giving you the best strategy for dealing with conflict.

I found it really informative & helpful
RatingRatingRatingRatingRating

Unlike some courses where I complete it but don't take too much Interest, I really found this one very interesting as it's something we have all experienced whether personally or professionally and I can resonate with the examples discussed and I like the solutions provided to deal with all types of conflict. I also like that you provided a transcript for each video, which made it easier to save it on a document and I like the downloadable tools that I will find useful in my own life. Thank you, it's a great course.

good

It was a very good course. I have learnt much about how to resolve problems in the work place.

A little generic and lacking some detail
RatingRatingRatingRatingRating

Whilst there were some good aspects to this course it was a little generic and in my view not cross correlated to wider issues such as Bullying and the Grievance process. ACAS was mentioned but no detail give in the course materials. I really wonder if any participant would feel more confident to use the ideas given. Some real videos which show the impact of different approaches would really enhance the course.

Why is this training important?

Business benefits

It’s estimated that 85% of employees deal with conflict at work at some point, and around 29% deal with it on a regular basis.

Conflict can be incredibly negative, having drastic consequences on both individuals and the wider organisation. However, with the right tools, conflict can be managed effectively, saving you money and increasing productivity; helping empower your staff, improving their work experience, and reducing your staff turnover; and helping you manage risks by preventing potential aggression or violence by disgruntled staff, mitigating the legal risks which might result from such actions while fostering a better public perception of your organisation. Our Conflict Resolution Training provides you with the tools you and your staff need to properly manage conflict, turning what could so easily be a negative into a benefit for you and your organisation.
