The solution
Agrii started using iHasco for Health & Safety, but quickly expanded it to cover HR, corporate governance e.g. GDPR and wellbeing training.
“We’ve gone from using it for health and safety to a lot more – HR, governance, and wellbeing training too.”
eLearning enabled Agrii to save time and money while making training more accessible and consistent. Internal communication and top-down support helped build trust in the move, and training is now assigned automatically by job family and can be completed from any location.
“It’s a great way to deliver the basics without people travelling two hours to do a 40-minute course.”

The impact
Cash savings
Jaishree tells us that iHasco has saved their business cash in three ways:
- eLearning can now be completed online, anywhere, eliminating the need for staff to arrange a time to be at a specific location. They can do their training from their office or depot.
- The company no longer needs to pay expenses where colleagues would need to travel in person to receive their training.
- The time taken to complete training is significantly reduced, which means less time away from day-to-day tasks.
Completion rates
After embedding structured training paths and reminders, course completion rates significantly improved and have remained high.
“Now it’s just business as usual. People get on and do it”, said Jaishree.
Following Agrii’s success, the iHasco platform was adopted across the entire Origin Enterprises Group (Agrii’s parent company), including operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
“It meets our requirements, it’s evolved for us, and now the whole Origin group is using it.”
Agrii also uses the platform to support specific development needs, including soft skills, such as time management, resilience and neurodiversity-focused learning.
“We might assign resilience or time management courses as part of someone’s development plan or a reasonable adjustment.”
Smarter reporting, smarter results
Agrii have been able to improve reporting by harnessing key features in the iHasco LMS. The reports can be easily accessed and downloaded by location or business unit.
“We’ve gone from having no structure to a full training matrix, and the introduction of dashboards that manager can access later this year will save us time.”
A collaborative partnership
Collaboration is an important part of the relationship between Agrii and iHasco. Jaishree and her team work closely with iHasco’s Client Success team to influence platform improvements and see them implemented.
“We’ve made suggestions for platform improvements and seen those changes come through – that’s the kind of partnership we value.”
The Origin Enterprises Agrii’s parent company operates in central and eastern Europe, so the ability to complete courses in different languages has been a game-changer.
“[iHasco] sent us the [course] transcript in Polish and Romanian. We got our colleagues to look at it. They made some suggested amendments because [the translation] wasn’t quite right. Your team worked with them to get that transcript just right. What other supplier would do that?”

- Modern Slavery Training – This is something which is sadly common in the farming industry. Those working in agriculture may not have previously been aware of the signs to look out for, but after training they now understand what to do should they come across it. Jaishree says that this course “allowed us to raise awareness”.
- GDPR Training – It can be the simplest of requests that have the biggest impact. Previously, a colleague may ask HR for someone’s personal details to congratulate them on getting married, for example. They now don’t receive these requests as colleagues understand the importance of data protection.
- Sexual Harassment Training – Due to legislative changes at the end of 2024, sexual harassment was something that everybody needed training on – fast.
“[iHasco’s] course was great, because it was one of the things we needed to do as an employer; we needed to ensure that everybody had the same training.”
- Whistleblowing – As well as industry and legislative changes, Agrii have seen training requests come from their parent company Origin, such as Whistleblowing. With iHasco’s comprehensive course library, it’s just a matter of adding it to their LMS.
- Soft Skills Training – Individuals at Agrii can be nominated for courses such as Time Management or Resilience training, based on their unique needs. So, not only can courses be used across the board, but they can also contribute towards individual learning and development initiatives.
