I appreciated the emphasis on the fact that harassment doesn't have to be intentional and can be perpetrated by anyone against anyone. However, the repeated scenarios where women were the culprits and the complete lack of any scenarios where a man harasses a woman is very unrepresentative and although perhaps intended to be a progressive representation to challenge standard perceptions, it is not as empowering as it needs to be. Without acknowledgement of gendered power differences and with the simplification of the reporting process (experience/see – report – resolved) I think the advice would unfortunately not be easily applicable or successful in many workplaces. Thankfully I feel very safe in my workplace, but I think the training would be more impactful if it was more representative.
