Clear format and teaching
Liked that each section had a summary. Liked the odd question throughout to check understanding. Liked the fact I could take my time.
Informative and accessible learning
The course was structured to provide key safeguarding information in a way that was easy to understand and in an accessible format.
A complete beginner.
As a complete beginner to doing online courses, it was to say the least very daunting! Also being a pensioner and not tech savvy. But after awhile I gained more confidence and took my time, and eventually passed.
Thorough guidamce
Very useful and thorough treatment of such a sensitive topic. Very useful.
Generally good, but this non-stop reliance on Acronyms and topical phrases is tiring
I have had to complete this type of training so many times, working for different charities which is both frustrating, but also monotonous as the continual reliance on acronyms and phrases used in this sector are legion and make concentrating on the actual subject matter rather challenging. Acronyms are fine if that's your daily work routine, but for people new or in training, it becomes suffocating trying to remember all these different (dozens, maybe hundreds) of systems. I understand why you use them in your industry, but it seems overbearing during training.
I didn't think my role was a carer
Way beyond what is required as delivery staff, this is the type of safeguarding i used to do in my role in family support not to lead a ride or loan an e bike.
Very good but lengthy
