good imformation and techniques
This gave me a better view in mental illness and what some of the signs are if somebody is possible struggling with it. It has gave me a few techniques on how to reduce stress.
I really enjoyed this course.
There are some really good tips in the course to ensure mental well being is a priority.
Really useful. Most of it concerns things one already knows, but good to take time out and re-remember it. Liked the breathing tool and the little acronyms. The only thing I didn't like were the occasional sound effects, apart from the one on the breathing tool, which was useful to use to breathe and close eyes at same time.

Several points from the training I would like raise: 1. I think it is only relevant to people with everyday stresses and not actual mental illness such as severe depression. 2. Exercise, healthy eating etc. are not enough, if someone is dealing with physical illness or disability exercise needs to be tailored to individual and in some cases can make it worse. Exercise can also trigger a panic attack for anxiety sufferers. 3. Talking is not enough – doesn't necessarily help the problem and can make it worse i.e. if there is no one you trust or the issue is deeply personal or traumatic, can trigger an episode. 4. If someone is dealing with a lot of negative thoughts, replacing with a positive is not going to help. You need to get to the root of the thought and positive thoughts only help at a conscious level and not subconscious ie accept the negative thought. 5. Asking for helps is good but many people do and are stuck on a very lo
A good course
