Useful but not all applicable in my case

We work in an office building where there are several companies so the fire alarm system, etc. is all managed by the building managers and doesn't affect us fire wardens. All we're supposed to do is help with evacuation when the fire alarm goes.

very good

Informative and a good way to learn the responsibilities of a fire Warden

Basic guide to warden duties

Very similar to the Fire Awareness version available. Covers the different types of fire, fire triangle (Heat, Oxygen, Fuel), all the types of extinguisher and uses. Other than that very basic fire awareness. The most interesting thing is an example of how people react during a fire alarm and how they will hold put unless directed. My opinion they should focus the course on the practically of operating as a fire warden more.

Good

Found it very interesting

Very good micro presentations that enabled me to absorb the information and knowledge required at a rate that was comfortable . E learning is a great way to broaden my knowledge without eating too much into my working day.

Each video clip was short and snappy.

Although there were quite a lot of different clips to go through, each one was short and succinct enough to sustain your attention. The facilitator was clear and explained things well. The way it was laid out was good in that relevant areas were grouped together with a summary at the end of each section. The navigability was also good in that it was easy to go back and return to any section, at any time, just by clicking on the relevant section heading. The fact you could also return to the tutorials during and after the test section was also useful to reinforce ideas, even if they had been forgotten.
