How iHASCO helped Hamworthy Heating retain OHSAS 18001
Hamworthy Heating are a leading British commercial boiler manufacturer and supplier of commercial heating and hot water solutions. We partnered with Hamworthy Heating just over 3 years ago and are thrilled to be providing them with our eLearning solution to this day.
A couple of weeks ago we received an email from Clive Williamson, Contracts Manager at Hamworthy Heating, who informed us that through using our systems, we had helped them retain their OHSAS 18001 Certification!
What is OHSAS 18001?
OHSAS 18001 is an Occupational Health & Safety Assessment. Compliance with OHSAS 18001 allows organisations to demonstrate that they have effective Health & Safety systems in place. It also improves corporate image and credibility, whilst ensuring employees health and wellbeing is prioritised.
A stressful process simplified...
As Clive mentions below, becoming OHSAS 18001 certified can be a stressful process, but through the use of our LMS, Clive was able to show the OHSAS Auditor any training certificate he required.

On the 31st August this year, we were audited for re-certification of the Health and Safety standard OHSAS18001, by URS.
This is always a slightly stressful experience, as the certification is very important to our business.
