A nice introduction to Prevent duty
I have completed this course in the past so knew what to expect however, for someone completing the course for the first time it was informative and easy to follow.
Simple and direct
Straight forward, quick and direct which makes it easier to absorb and stay focused on.
A good introduction to Prevent.

Nebulous and ineffective
This training is incredibly vague and not actually helpful in being able to identify extremism or terrorism as it forms. I came out of it thinking that any sort of non group think take nearly counts as radicalization. Who makes up the definitions for when something is a "radical" cause. Why doesn't the training actually talk about the ACTUAL problematic movements out there that spread hate and intolerance like the cult of masculinity, hatred towards Islamic people, Jewish people, Black people, Indian people, hatred towards trans individuals and other LGBTQ+ people. Those are the actual problem radical movements, but this training almost makes it feel like supporting trans people is a radicalization. Truly awful experience and do better next time, though I hope I never have to watch this ever again.
Informative and simply explained.

It was short and to the point; largely keeps the main aim centre stage.
I have already been through extensive Prevent training for other employment and have lectured on terrorism and radicalisation to the UK and NATO. So I rather appreciated that it basically condensed it down to the most important points and did not waste anyone's time. If I was being pedantic I would recommend ensuring that the safeguarding message does not become counter-productive and considering more explicit advice on the prevalence of specific, high-risk ideological threats to keep the package in line with the Shawcross Independent Review (2023). That said, this package's emphasis on ensuring the stopping of terrorism and extremism is welcome vs pre-Shawcross packages I have seen.
