Easy to follow and good pace
Enjoyed this course, particularly liked the way breaks were included as it reminded me to move about and refocus
DEI is a very difficult subject!
I have only just noticed that 'paragraph' above is spelt wrong and missing the 'p'! I have mixed opinions on DEI and in my honest opinion a lot of it seems to be forced upon employees giving no room for free thought or free speech. I do know that companies have to sign-up to DEI for funding and to get certain contracts which seems very wrong. I need to do more research into it outside of the workplace and how it affects us all in our everyday lives.
Eyeopening
Lots of information I didn't know absorbed.
very informative and necessary.
The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Training provided valuable insights into fostering a more inclusive and respectful workplace. The content was informative, covering essential topics such as the importance of diversity, addressing unconscious bias, and promoting equal opportunities for all employees. The interactive training encouraged open discussions and reflections on personal experiences, which helped deepen understanding of EDI principles. However, there could be more emphasis on practical, real-world applications of EDI strategies within the workplace. Overall, the training effectively raised awareness and encouraged participants to contribute to a more inclusive and supportive environment actively.
Disagree with some parts
the vast majority of the module is great, If it is important to the individual, I will refer to a transgender person as they wish to be referred to. however due to my beliefs I will not be using pronouns such as (Zir – Ze – Sie – Mx), If not being referred to as male or female is important to that individual then I will refer to them by their name.
enlightening
Gets the message across. And not made difficult.
Educational
This was more educational than I thought I would it would be.
