too long

Course would be better with Test first, and failure meaning take the course. Most people nowadays are trying to do the right thing/use the right methods and terminology by default and experience.

Detailed, Comprehensive and Nuanced

This course is very detailed and highlights some extremely important issues. It addresses structural inequalities instead of just focussing on direct discrimination like other EDI courses I have done. Protected characteristics are explained individually and in a way that goes beyond legal requirements. The emphasis on self-reflection also makes this course more meaningful. I feel much more confident being in a workplace where this training is provided.

Outlook on people

I have to admit I thought I was pretty equal and open minded, there were some interesting points raised, food for thought.

Brain aches

The slides are too long. 33 ! it does take quite a lot of time out of the working day. I found the pronouns section a headache…per ze sie ve hir mix. Confused and made my brain ache of what is or not correct to use. Also Equity not Equality confusing. Equity, isn't that an Actors Union card.
