Thorough explanations
I enjoyed this course, the explanations were very clear and I feel confident in the training I received. The only negative was the sound quality of the voice recording during the start of the video. I don't think it was my equipment.
Genuinely about inclusion
I’m non-binary and have worked in a variety of places and settings and this was the only and first training to actually acknowledge non-binary people and pronouns and I appreciated it a lot. A lot of places skip over NB identities because it’s not legally recognised but we still exist and it’s nice to feel seen.
Informative
I found the event very useful and informative in equality, diversity & Inclusion for work purposes. They was good examples and explanations of each of the subject areas and plenty of referrence material for further reading.
Excellent
This course made me reflect on my own behaviours. It helped clarify the legal requirements of the Equality Act as well as motivate me to think what I personally can do to make a difference.
Very good and informative.
This was very good and informative section, even if you are implementing and working to EDI, it is always good to keep up to date and be aware of any changes or differing approaches we may wish to adapt or employ.
A good overview of the legalities
All sections of the 4 definitions covered in depth with additional resources offered. Some thought provoking scenarios. Well worth doing with a short re-cap multi choice test at the end.
Insightful and thought provoking
This course has made me stop and reflect about not only the legal requirements associated with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (clearly legislative), but also all my interactions; the 60 second stop and think challenge…so simple, yet so powerful and one that I will use with immediate effect. Thank you.
