The unit enhanced my knowledge on how to protect vulnerable adults, and promote their wellbeing, and refreshed my knowledge on how toollow the safeguarding policies, and procedures in my workplace.
This unit updated my knowledge on how to recognise , respond to, and reporting adults’ abuse and neglect. It promoted my knowledge on types of abuse, signs to look for, the Mental Capacity Act, duty of candour, and my personal professional responsibilities for making disclosures.
It covered the basic elements I would need to keep myself and others safe at work.
