Safeguarding Children Training Reviews

I found the Safeguarding Children (Level 2) course informative, clear and relevant to my role in an educational setting. It provided a good overview of recognising signs of abuse, responding appropriately to disclosures, recording and reporting concerns, and understanding my safeguarding responsibilities. I particularly appreciated the practical examples and clear guidance on the correct procedures to follow. Overall, I found the course useful and valuable in strengthening my understanding and confidence in safeguarding children and young people.

I found the training very informative and up to date with the current legislation. It highlighted new areas of information, such as county lines now being recognised as a form of abuse and faith abuse. I was not aware of faith abuse in that much detail before. The only issue is two of the questions did contradict each other, one question stated who should you contact first and this gave the option of the child, the DSL and the suspected abuser. On another question it asked what should you do first contact the child, contact the DSL or either depending on the situation. These two questions just need to be more clear. Overall a very informative training session.

The training was straight forward, easy to listen to and informative. A great 'revisit' tool

Considering I have done this module fir a cook supervisor in a junior school kitchen I feel it was a tad long winded I feel like I have now qualified as a social worker

As a PE teacher I have a huge responsibility to spot abuse and report it asap.

A concise and informative course which would be beneficial to anyone working with children/young people.
