The safeguarding programme teaches how to recognise, listen, record, and report child abuse to keep children safe.
The safeguarding programme teaches how to recognise, respond to, record, and report concerns about child abuse. It explains the different types of abuse—physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect—and the common warning signs, such as changes in behavior, poor hygiene, or emotional distress. The programme emphasises how to respond to a child’s disclosure by listening calmly, avoiding leading questions, and not promising secrecy. It also covers the importance of accurate record-keeping, reporting concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and understanding that you don’t need proof to act. Overall, it equips anyone working with children with the knowledge and confidence to protect children and ensure they receive appropriate support.

Invaluable training
It can be difficult at times, to think children are being harm and abused, however, it's important to be aware of this, in the work place
Excellent presentation.
The only thing I struggled with was the one question where you were asked to give a reason for something not being something and as someone who struggles with words I couldn’t really understand the question so I got it wrong
Really great

Superb cause – very easy to navigate
A great course to complete and very easy to navigate – Id highly recommend
Good but could be two modules?
I thought it was a really comprehensive course, which is fantastic – much more detailed than even my previous LDSL training in another organisation. My only feedback is that it was very long, and a lot of information in one go, so might be better as two modules with a test at the end of each? That way you're not trying to take in all the information in one go, and then remember it all. The second module could have a bit of a recap of the first. Just a thought!
