The course is very clear and precise in its deliverance, was very interesting and knowledgeable.
I believe having access to information of all forms of cohesion is very important for members of any organisation,is to to be able to recognise signs with any of our service users. For instance if we feel they could be getting manipulated in any way that would impact on their wellbeing and quality of life. Knowing what to look out for and who we can approach if we suspect our service users are in danger.I enjoyed having insight of this course to refresh my understanding of the dangers that each and every one of us could face especially in these times.
I liked the case studies throughout the course as it keeps you engaged with the course being online.

Useful overview
I found the initial definition of slavery troubling as I feel there is a distinction between the historical enslavement of peoples of African descent and the abuse that currently exists in the labour market. Also, I was troubled that a woman who was put into a forced marriage suffering domestic abuse was considered to be in domestic servitude rather enslaved. It calls into question how forced marriage is viewed.
