brilliant

brilliant

very well presented in plain english

.

Very informative and fun.

A very broad range of information. Very relevant and interesting. I particularly enjoyed learning about things I could do as an individual to reduce my waste as well as information given regarding which plastics and other materials that could be recycled. Even more information regarding which materials can be recycled, (such as what kind of paper can be recycled) would be a good addition to have for the course.

Factually incorrect

It is stated in the video that phone chargers etc, draw electricity whilst plugged in but not in use. This is not correct. The energy drawn by these and similar devices is absolutely insignificant, less than £0.10 worth per year! By telling people that this is a meaningful difference, they may think that they have made a worthy effort, and that they do not need to make other changes in their life. Furthermore, it erodes confidence in other facts stated in the video, which are broadly correct. Please change your video to show the actual impact of suggested lifestyle changes, in units that can be compared easily to each other i.e kg of CO2 equivalent saving per year. This way, people will not unplug their phone chargers, and think that is a comparable saving to changes that are actually meaningful such as less commuting, reducing meat consumption, etc.
