Possibly the most difficult challenge for any remote worker is adapting to a new way of communicating with their co-workers. By utilising technology such as video calls and collaborative software, people can stay connected and projects and workflows can continue running just as smoothly.

This Effective Remote Working training course covers guidance and tips on how to manage time effectively, set boundaries and identify your most productive times of the day.
It provides an overview of the importance of creating structure to your working day and creating a productive workspace. These include a basic understanding of DSE, manual handling and even employee mental health.

Very surface level.
Not reflected by PCS' approach to remote working in scheduling of work or meetings. Almost condescending in the notions of planning work and offers little practical advice.
It was a good course and you can do it on your own time. It allowed me to understand process of Remote Working in detailss. However, could not ask any questions e.g. not sure about things that needed more clarification.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 states that “It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare at work of all his employees”. It is important to understand that a business is responsible for the health and safety of its employees whether they are office or home-based.
The Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations requires an employer to carry out risk assessments regardless of the place of work. It is the employer who must identify and control these risks.
