This is a good topic as this will help the staff respect each individual with diverse personality and background.

Good awareness course

1. Clear and concise delivery of sometimes complex information. 2. The level of detail reflects consultation with individuals who have specialist knowledge / direct experience of the issues covered. 3. Care taken to clarify sensitive aspects of the issues covered - eg. difference between intentional / accidental behaviour resulting in feelings of discomfort / distress to the individual. [BUT: Test uses obvious / weak questions, missing the opportunity to consolidate learning and stimulate further reflection]

This training was very good in terms of structure and clear delivery. I only had an issue with the comment in section 24/29 that "Your manager should follow a grievance procedure". I don't think that is correct. In my opinion if a Manager and HR are dealing with a complaint this does not need to trigger a grievance. A grievance would come from the victim if their complaint was not dealt with. I also had an issue with section 26/29 about the "legal route". It's good that it stated this should be a last resort but I would have liked a clear reminder to people to say try your manager and/or HR first before considering legal action!!

I found the course to be informative and illustrative through their examples in all their myriad forms. I would potentially have appreciated some additional in video multiple choice questions to confirm that you are understanding everything as it goes along.

Good content and added references were good but missed sound dialog at the beginning of video clips though only a small amount so I could still understand the content.
