It is quite simplistic and doesn't account well for serious mental health issues where it isn't as simple as trying to change negative thoughts into positive - perhaps a distinction needs to be drawn between the different severities of illness? I think it's a little patronising and could be improved upon considering where we are now with mental health.
Found it quite patronizing to be honest. It's also full of some really questionable imagery. At best the images are a bit crass, at worst I can imagine it being triggering. It doesn't seem to have been created with any consideration for people that actually have mental health illnesses. It's also very repetitive. There are some good parts, though. Not a total waste of time.
With the facilities & funds available to CVS I think there would be many more hands on & effective ways to help employees manage and improve their mental health. As a profession that is known to struggle with mental health I honestly think this doesn't go far enough & seems insincere in the grand scheme of things.
The content of the course was informative, but I felt the illustration and depiction of mental health issues as "monsters" was inappropriate, as well as the moving black scribble during the stress section. If someone was to be suffering with one of the mental health issues discussed in this training, I do not feel the illustrations would be supportive or an aid to the training, they could make the feeling worse.
Did not learn anything new. Course is well structured
