Far too much information to remember.

I found there to be too much information to take in over a 26 minute period . I do not use ladders within the workplace .

Boring

Why do you firstly presume everyone is stupid?please just stick to the relevant parts people will be unaware of,not general everyday stuff even 5 year olds know and do everyday.

Too long

30 mins is too long for a ladder safety course. Especially when I never use a ladder at work...

Repetitive

I understand the need to reinforce vital points and that people have different learning styles. However, I found the repletion irritating and felt the production team assumed the learner had a little ability to retain the information from one slide to the next.

Feels Out of date

Wooden ladders as a professional are a big no no. Carrying on your shoulder with your arm through the rungs? what would happen if you fall or trip, broken shoulder. Even worse, if there are 2 people carrying then possible 2 injuries. Not the way ladders are carried on site these days

Not really anything I didn't know alread

Too much time spent telling me what they're going to tell me. Patronising.

thj

2 stars not for the course but for the idea of an online course for such an important issue.

Learned nothing

Been working with ladders for 30+ years having to take this course annually is a waste of your time and mine

Poor

BT Openreach would've had a field day correcting major issues on this course. Ladder weight fall missing, never ever erect extension ladders against a wall, required PPE when working above certain height level, etc.

Not really training is it??

This is not training it’s simply a box ticking exercise developed to fulfill a criteria. There is no way one can ask any questions if anything is not clear. It is learning not training. Training to me is coaching. It is a very poor substitute for an in house training course where an outside body is brought in to actually do the training rather than an actor reading from a prewritten script.
