Clear, concise and easy to understand
I found this course very interesting, it taught me to look at myself and the words and actions I use in the workplace.
Possibly a bit too 'basic'
But perhaps that is the target audience. Mildly amused and then irritated by some of the images/people used to illustrate examples, particularly re: gender and sexual orientation, which seemed to reinforce stereotypical views of what 'someone like that might look like' – I did expect better!

Good course which is very relevant in today's climate. Course material covered a wide range of topics, was very interesting and encouraged an increased awareness in the workplace.

Preachiness not appreciated.
Contained some appropriate information but I disagreed with the more subjective content. Of course I will assume a bearded person who is 6'3" is a man- it is simply practical. Positive action?? The promotion of issues that are not matter-of-fact but rather up for discussion was not welcomed.

Very well presented course
This was an excellent course, helping me to gain a better understanding of how to ensure that everybody in the work place has an equal opportunity and is not treated differently or discriminated against because of their individual characteristics. Also, how to take into account the differences between people and groups of people and to place a positive value on those differences. I also gained a greater understanding of Equity as well as Equality and learned to differentiate between harassment and victimisation.
