Useful, clear, engaging
I would recommend this to others. Finally an online course that you can't skip which renders it pointless as staff WILL skip to get to the end quickly. It was informative, clear, accessible, and had good examples. I am a little concerned that the videos of people (not the narrator so much) may be AI-generated which would be a shame but I may be wrong. A very useful course.
4x longer because it assumes no understanding
This course ought to be no more than 25% orc the current duration. It’s padded out with unnecessary information (a whole section on having a go at writing down a password for goodness sake) and assumes no prior knowledge. Best in class training offers the user the ability to take a brief summary or even go direct to the test.
Good informative course

This course made enough glaring errors about Cyber Security that it was potentially actively harmful
1. Worst error was "how to make up a password". "Sentence" or "XKCD" password has been the standard for nearly a decade now. That needs updating, because the sort of password suggested is hard to memorise, but easy to crack with a Rainbow attack. This is an actively harmful suggestion in 2025. 2. Didn't understand the difference between Denial of Service and Distributed Denial of Service. DoS is more than just someone hammering a system, there are lots of ways to disable systems, without just overloading them. 3. Cyber Security should not be defined by Cyber crime. Fundamentally, a lot of data can be exfiltrated by entirely legal means, that doesn't make it secure. 4. The decision to attempt to enumerate "types of attack" was largely silly, as the OWASP Top 10 changes constantly. Supply Chain attack has been completely missed. https://owasp.org/www-project-top-ten/ This is not a comprehensive list of flaws, but it is clear that no-one with a background in Cyber Security was involved in making this.
too long, they need to be shorter

Overall fine
I think the course was overall fine. I think the acting and actual videos and graphics were pretty good, and the quizzes were fair. The only things I would improve upon are: the captions and technical interfacing. Sometimes the captions didn't match up with what was being said in the video/what was listed in the transcript. I also wanted to be able to watch the video on 2x speed, or have the ability to watch it at 0.5 speed if I wanted to, so I wish that was an option. I also wished we could have used the scrubber bar to move around in the video forwards and backwards, not just backward. It seemed to jump every time I tried to move it, so it was difficult to use.
Very helpful information
