Special podcast: compulsory care vaccinations

Special Podcast. Compulsory care vaccinations explained... listen now! Hosted by Gill McAteer, Head of Employment Law at Citation.

From 11th November 2021, all care home workers in England, and anyone entering a care home, will need to be fully vaccinated, unless they are exempt under the regulations.

The requirement triggers a whole host of HR challenges, and you’ll need a robust, written vaccination policy. Have you considered:

  • How you’ll gather, process & hold data around vaccination or expansion?
  • How vaccination requirements of new recruits and agency staff will be addressed?
  • The handling, and ultimate dismissal of any employees who refuse to be fully vaccinated and are not exempt?
  • Equality issues that may arise from complying with the regulations?

To help you understand the above and more we've put together a podcast that covers everything surrounding the upcoming changes. Hosted by Citation’s Head of Employment Law, Gillian McAteer, you’ll find out everything you need to know from the potential challenges you may encounter to new policies and procedures you might have to implement.
