We are pleased to announce that our Essential Health and Safety Training course has just been updated!
The course is designed to provide the user with a good grounding in general Health & Safety at work, helping them to recognise and avoid workplace hazards and explaining what to do to minimise illness and reduce workplace accidents.
Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA) defines the general duties of employees at work. It states that employers must take reasonable care of the Health & Safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts at work. Additionally, it asks employees to co-operate with their employer, so far as is necessary, to enable the employer to comply with their own duties.
With that in mind, it is essential that employers provide their employees with the information they need to comply with current legislation. With over 581,000 accidents in UK workplaces last year, it is evident that Health & Safety training must be evident in all workplaces.
Our new course is the perfect solution for organisations that want to provide an overview of a range of Health & Safety topics, whether it is used as an introduction or even as refresher training!
Having already provided over 320,000 training sessions for this course, we made the decision to upgrade the course’s graphics and content to reflect the styling of our newer courses whilst also ensuring that we provide the most up-to-date guidance on each topic.
The course, which hosts over 4,500 reviews, is rated 4.4 out of 5 stars. Here is what a couple of our clients have said about the course:
Very useful breakdown to the approach of presenting the various concepts of Health and safety training - the test at the end of each topic was also useful in tackling the final test.
This course is very comprehensive. It covers all aspects of health and safety and the tutorial is interesting to listen to, and aids the learner to gain all the information needed on health and safety in and out of the workplace so we can look after our own physical, social and emotional well being.
