A journey to 4 million training sessions

We’re thrilled to announce that we have now delivered over 4,000,000 unique training sessions across all of our courses!

As you can imagine, over the time it has taken us to get to this point, iHASCO has changed and grown significantly...

In 2008 iHASCO was known as ‘The Interactive Health & Safety Company’, born out of one product called ‘Fire Safety Training’ and later we developed other Health & Safety courses such as Manual Handling and DSE. We started with just a handful of staff, using CD-ROMs to deliver our courses. Our courses at first focused on health and safety training - hence our name! - and in 2012 we expanded into HR Compliance too. Since then, our library has grown to over 100 eLearning courses suitable for various industries,  which is a 2400% increase since 2008! Our name also changed from ‘The Interactive Health & Safety Company’, to ‘iHasco’ and then to iHASCO alongside a complete branding overhaul.

What do some of our senior team think about being part of iHASCO?

Alongside this, our LMS saw many iterations and updates in order to continue to ‘Make Training Simple’ as we endeavoured to ‘Seek Constant Improvement’ - both of which are some of iHASCO’s core values. In fact, while 4,000,000 training sessions is a fantastic achievement, we have to remember that iHASCO actually existed for a year without an LMS to quantify the training sessions clients were taking, so in reality, we have probably completed many more than 4,000,000 training sessions!

Website Changes

We’ve had around 4 website changes in this period too. Here are the most recent 3 including our current site on the right...

Our growth hasn’t just been in the online world. Starting off with only 8 people, we've grown over 11 years into a team that is now 70 people strong - that's a 775% increase! In 2012, we moved to office buildings because our team was outgrowing the building! In 2018 we also bought the upstairs level of the office next door to us because, again, we had grown bigger than our current space!

Approvals & Accreditations

Over this time, we’ve also gained some pretty impressive approvals, accreditations and awards:

• iHASCO have been accredited with a Silver Investors in People Award in 2019
• iHASCO successful in G-Cloud 11 Framework Application in 2019
• We began getting our courses approved by IOSH in 2016, we now have over 30 IOSH approved courses!
• iHASCO gained CITB Approved Training Organisation status 
• iHASCO ranked in top 100 software companies in EMEA
• iHASCO ranked as the number one online course provider for SMEs
• HASCO became approved partner members of the QFA (Quality Franchise Association).
• iHASCO achieve recertification in the Cyber Essentials Scheme

Charity Partnerships

Each year we team up with a charity to support through lots of the team activities we do here at iHASCO!

• iHASCO partnered with the Samaritans in March 2018 for a year
• iHASCO partners with Marine Conservation Society in April 2019 & participate in a beach clean up

With the majority of the team events and trips we do at iHASCO, we all donate money to charity to participate in the events…

• Evenings at Ronnie Scotts 
• Climbing the o2
• Go-karting

Training Sessions

It’s our 7,000+ clients that helped us reach this total and our timeline of training sessions just goes to show how quickly iHASCO has grown & developed over the years:

• 2013 - 500,000 training sessions 
• 2015 - 1,000,000 training sessions (achieved in 2 years)
• September 2017 - 2,000,000 training sessions (achieved in 2 years)
• November 2018 - 3,000,000 training sessions (achieved in 13 months)
• September 2019 - 4,000,000 training sessions (achieved in 11 months)
• 2020 - we hope to reach 5,000,000 maybe even 6,000,000?!
