What actually was this?
The course says to be positive, but not to be too positive. To ask for help, but not ask for help. to ignore negative thoughts, but not ignore them. It offers advice for how to help people struggling with issues, that really just comes across as passive aggressive. Essentially say "oh no, what do you want me to do about it?" It then goes on about writing down positive thoughts. But doesn't say this is something we should do, or what do do if it makes things worse. And the consequences of not doing it. Does taking the course commit us to performing these actions? Basically, I am left a little less positive and a lot more cynical having watched the video.
