Fraud Awareness and Prevention Training Reviews

I thought the fraud training was really useful and it raised some interesting points for me, particularly around how easily behaviours can sometimes be influenced by targets, incentives or the desire to achieve a particular outcome. One thing it made me reflect on was how some of these principles fit alongside our wider sales culture. For example, we are quite rightly encouraged to identify opportunities to support clients and make them aware of additional services they may need. However, there can sometimes be encouragement to discuss or refer services such as investigation minutes, disciplinary support and disciplinary minutes before an investigation has actually established whether there is a case to answer.I completely understand the value of making clients aware of what they may need further down the line, and I don't think there is anything wrong with having those conversations. I just wonder whether there is a potential tension between some of the messages in the training around avoiding manipulation or being influenced by personal or commercial gain, and the pressure people can naturally feel within a strong sales and target-driven environment.It may be helpful for the training to acknowledge this and give some guidance or examples around where that line sits. I think that would help colleagues feel confident that they can identify genuine opportunities for the business while still ensuring that the client's needs and the facts of the situation are driving the advice. Overall, I found the course thought-provoking, and this was probably the main area it prompted me to reflect on.
