Informative

Interesting course - sometimes got a bit confusing between the different definitions

Harassment

I need to understand why calling someone wrinkles is not an harassment, it’s just like calling someone wearing wheel chair - chair girl I think they will find it embarrassing

Informative and Interactive

Good overall. Presenters clear and concise. More information about types of diversity. It felt as though you needed to know more about this section particularly in relation to the types.

It is a fantastic course, but not fully

I really enjoyed completing this course. However, it is not fully compatible with screen readers. For example, some of the slides contain a video with no audio followed by a question. To give one example, one was a video of a job advert followed by the question 'how many forms of indirect discrimination were there in the job advert?'. I wasn't able to see the video so just had to pick any answer. It would be useful if there was audio description of the video, or a text description that can be read by screen readers. It is unfortunate that this is the case, as reference to visual impairment is made twice throughout this course.

Did exactly what is claimed it would do.

Raised a few "discrimination issues" regarding the way we speak to others which I may not have previously considered as possible abuse, which I now know could be and this caused me to reflect on my own practice (especially regarding one colleague)

Good introduction to the subject.

Thank you.

Useful overview of equality & diversity

Course gave a systematic overview of the subject although could maybe have included more examples to help tease through some of the more challenging aspects.
