What training do schools require?

Educational institutions are subject to many different regulations, usually even more so than standard workplaces due to the number of staff and students in the building at any one time. 

Due to their nature, training high up the agenda in many educational institutions will usually be courses like: 

• Safeguarding & KCSIE - All staff working in schools must complete safeguarding training, however different staff will require different levels of training that is appropriate to them. You can find out more in our Safeguarding Guide for Schools. KCSIE guidance is updated annually and must be read (At least part one or Annex A) by all school staff. 
• Safer Recruitment - At least one member of a recruitment board must be trained in Safer Recruitment.
