Too repetitive of previous course

The content is about 75% the same as the Unconscious Bias Training for Employees. Perhaps I was only meant to do one of the courses...!

Not hitting all the requirements

Covers awareness, acknowledgement, challenging yourself through training thoughts and common biases, but doesn't cover (1) challenge of others, or (2) fear of stigmatisation where open about biases and thus vulnerable to being labelled. This is likely to result in staff being unable to talk about personal views and addressing mistakes. Overcoming this fear and promoting a culture of openness and vulnerability is essential for creating a safe place where staff feel comfortable confronting and addressing their biases.

Good but not great

It covers the basic and definitely highlights a few things which I can relate to as a manager and as someone managed. But it's vanilla and mildly relatable.

3/5
a bit condescending assumes we are bias

The assumption we all have unconscious bias is a bit insulting.

3/5
A little boring

I struggled to stay awake and focused towards the end of the course. It was a little dry and slow. Their was a lot of repeating which didn't help. Content was good and useful though and the presenter was clear and easy to understand.

3/5
Very difficult to deliver this online.

The online element of this course covers what it can, but the subject needs to be supported with in-person training/coaching.

Interesting

Whilst general principals have global reach the expression and presentation was almost embarrassingly UK /Eurocentric

It was baseline informative

This training was okay as a baseline - depending on the audience it was quite basic.
