Bias in recruitment can be a significant problem and awareness of its potential is really useful for those involved in it. However the presentation was frequently awfully or vaguely worded. "Trust your instincts -but challenge them" is a fine and typical example. OED definition of 'trust' = "acceptance of the truth of a statement without evidence or investigation".Technically sound stuff and, of course, it will raise awareness in participants.Overall, I was disappointed though.
Mindlessly boring
this course was a waste of time. it has many factual errors. tells you not to trust instincts. makes assumptions on what i thought of a situation when it was far from what i thought.
As an individual of culturally diverse descent I found the material offensive and tonally deaf
I found this course to be very poorly done. As a cross cultured child, from an ethnic minority background, I didn't appreciate this course.
My unconscious bias spotted all the masonic symbolism.
