Never thought the functionality could be should though a medial device. Was impressed by how good the ladder training course was. Well done guys.
Good, clear course overall. Slide 26 out of 29 could use a video to demonstrate what is being explained, in line with the rest of the course.

Does not explain to me how to identify a fiberglass ladder.

Covers everything you need to know about using ladder safely. I think it could possibly be improved by including more detail/guidance on ladder inspection from the point of inspector (with overall H&S responsibilities) unless covered by another course
A refresher of any kind should always be beneficial.
I have been climbing ladders for over 55 years. The low shoulder carry is not accepted as a method of carrying a ladder. With your arm through a rung, if you were to stumble you will cause serious damage to you shoulder. The correct way of carrying a ladder is to have the bottom section on your shoulder with the top section away from you. That way if you slip or trip you can let go of the ladder and it will naturally fall away from you. That is the way BT and the Fire service train. I gave this feedback last time I did this course but it was not taken on board
The course was informative and quite easy to follow. I also like the questionnaire at the end.
