Infection preventing & Control in care training coarse was very interesting and beneficial for me I personally thought it highlighted in depth of preventing spread of infections in the work place . Also the importantance of PPE
The training is okay but listening and going through all the modules before the test makes one to forget or not able to retain the information when doing the test. Doing some modules and doing the test in between will help a lot.
I believe a question on washing hands is incorrect, the information online tells different.
The course was not too long to cause people to be distracted / bored with comments due to the bite size segments . the delivery allowed for breaks if needed . test was far too easy !
Was comprehensive, a bit dull in its presentation but on line courses are limited
Easy to understand clear up to date
Despite getting one wrong I thought it was fairly easy and straightforward.
In the videos I was not happy to see Nurse/HCA wearing a watch and long sleeves when dealing with a service user. Your own presentation specifies no watches, jewellery, bracelets and my understanding is arms bare below elbow. I would also like to know if there is a policy regarding ID badges hanging from lanyards. It seems these are constantly dangling over things and being tucked in by hand/gloves. Surely not good practice.
Having worked in hospitals 40+ years it is second nature to follow guidelines but important to note that for many years now we have operated a "naked below the elbow" policy to assist in infection control. I note on several demos that your Actress has a long sleeve shirt under her tunic which is short sleeved
I learned new knowledge that I did not know before the training and will apply all that I have learnt in my work. Some of the Health and Safety issues were applied prior to the course.
