Fire Awareness Training in Care Reviews

Sadly Disappointing & a very alone process with no sharing learning process with colleagues. Such a tick box exercise not conducive to retaining a lot of important information in the work place

The info from your non-care fire safety course is very good....(and I really rate that course)...but the care specific course has too broad an audience (hospitals, babies etc as well as care settings) so staff won't see it as relevant and messages relevant to them may well get lost. Some of the language didn't quite reflect the values we'd want to see. We have decided to use your generic course for all our staff.....although it is a shame not to have something that reflects our specific settings (and the need to support people with disabilities to evacuate if there is a fire) more.

I found the extinguisher section quite difficult to take in and remember. The chart format was ok and i'm not sure how it can be improved as this is a complex thing to understand! Something more interactive might be good.
