lasts way too long

Tells you not to look at a screen for more than 20 mins but lasts 35 , if we actually did everything suggested we would be sacked as we would never do a full days work

Probably the worst DSE training I've had

Way too long and drawn out. Nearly all of the stuff was covered by the leaflets you used to get as your "training" over 16 years ago - and those took two minutes to read. Not all of the information is complete. No mention of hip alignment, which is really important, or using an ergonomic mouse/correct size mouse/mouse wrist placement, which is very important for CAD users and the like (seen lots of people with wrist tendonitis from crappy mice, which is why I buy my own, as the cheap stuff that you get from IT is way too small. In fact, my WFH setup has an ancient Microsoft ergonomic keyboard because it's absolutely excellent and fits my size hands, and is way better than a cheapy £5 HP keyboard).Stretches suggested seem limited. Might be good to mention that targeting thoracic mobility and strengthening external rotation of the shoulders is quite important, and will massively benefit how people sit/work. Also, low back pain can be a huge symptom of not engaging the glutes properly (and also an issue with hip alignment).

You can’t re enter the quiz

If you get one question wrong your asked if you would like to look over that section but if you do you then have to do the complete course again before you can retest

Horrendously drawn out for simple info

This course was so long and so incredibly detailed that it was impossible to concentrate and listen to the key information. It wasted so much of my time that a simple checklist could have addressed with me able to watch the video clips if i needed more information. I suspect most people are running this video in the background and not listening.

suck eggs level

common sense only, website appalling, slides took 3 hours to run instead of the 32 minutes listed

Long and pointless

This training is far too long and irrelevant. You could have achieved the same results more usefully with a short pdf.

Some things were factually incorrect

Antibacterial products should not be used for regular cleaning outside hospitals where they are used professionally as they are not very effective and at worst select for resistant bacteria. You should instead use mild detergent.Much of the advice about posture was incorrect as well. The correct part was that you should move frequently, lumbar support and a straight back are relatively unimportant abs there is little evidence that they work. The training was highly UK-centric and we are an international company with many overseas staff.I did not find this training useful, and it was at its worst actually misleading.
