very limited

Aimed more at workers with substance abuse issues, and not clients with issues. Not much guidance on how to attempt to interact with people dealing with substance abuse.

drones on too long

Although quite informative i found this course boring

a strange mix

this video seemed to show more pics of female workers suffering than male workers now if that is the case i am amazed and i have leant something extra today

A dull tick box course.

It is what it is. Basic information relayed. My organisation will be able to say I have completed a course. Golly the lack of interaction makes it an incredibly dull way to learn. Also am unable to print off info that i may wish to refer to. If I go back to it i have to commence the course again. Surely if i have completed the course successfully then surely I should be able to dip back into it to look up relevant info rather than having to work my way through it all again.

informative

Worth while course could assist or make people aware of workers attitude . Should also include that some illness have similar symptom's to drugs.

Was interesting to catch up on some thin

Not a bad little course, to catch up on!

Some useful content but a bit slow

Like many courses aimed at a broad audience, inevitably the content needs to be adjusted to be inclusive. Hence, while I found there were a few useful points to learn in this course, what I did learn could have been achieved in about 30 seconds of reading rather than 30 minutes of videos. It should be remembered that we are doing these courses because we have to, not necessarily because we want to, or are especially curious about the content.

Good basic introduction for beginners

Not the most detailed drug and alcohol awareness course I have ever completed but still useful reminder about the dangers. I would say that some of the information may need to be reviewed; e.g. it was stated that some people MAY consider spice to be as harmful as cannabis. However, anyone who has experienced both substances will say that spice is unquestionably severely more dangerous than cannabis!! The same section stated that spice will produce an effect similar to cannabis. However, this is not true: the effect produced by spice is completely different and significantly more severe. It is much more dangerous than cannabis. I would recommend having the course reviewed by ex-users of the substances to check for accuracy. Otherwise the course was good!

Clear, detailed, user friendly

It is a detailed, well made course, though some of it a little simplistic. I'd say there's a lot of info to take in and remember before the end test but then you can pause and replay sections. Because you can see the time allowed for each section, it made me panic more and try to rush through.Overall, a pretty well done course

hard subject to incorporate candidates

Drugs and alcohol in the work place is and should be banned but enforcing this on a daily basis is hard to explains without dyer consequences. I think the content was to soft and did not show the effects of such abuse .
