About this course
Globally, falls from height account for 646,000 fatalities every year – they’re the second highest cause of accidental death after road traffic injuries. Non-fatally they cause as many as 37 million injuries requiring medical attention every year.
However, despite being both common and dangerous, falls from height are also completely avoidable. All it takes is a little extra care, planning, and attention to detail and falls from height can be almost entirely prevented; whilst the effects of those that do still occur can be dramatically reduced.
The course breaks the topic of working at height down into three easy-to-follow sections; the responsibilities of working at height; the risks associated with work at height and how to stay safe; and an in-depth look at the kinds of equipment which might be used, their benefits, and the risks they pose.

Good reminder on safety know-how
Whilst each employee is busy with their daily roles, this kind of training would be helpful as self-reminder. To the new hires, this is good as part of the onboarding process. It also helps to set a certain standard on the organization image to the employees as an organization that put their employee's safety first while focusing on the business.
