Find out more about David Goddard Tech.IOSH
When did you join iHASCO?
I’ve been here since the very beginning being one of the founding Directors.
What do you do there?
I effectively run the business day to day, dealing with sales, marketing/business development and customer services. We have such a great bunch of people within each team and our clients are almost all a delight so my job is a pleasure.
What did you want to be when you were at school?
I wanted to follow my hero Quincy and be a forensic scientist but A level Chemistry is hard, hard, hard.
What do you get up to when you’re not at iHASCO?
When I’m not here, I love golf and following Crystal Palace FC home and away. The 27th May 2013 was one of the greatest days in my life - an early round of golf then watched Palace at Wembley get promoted! I spent a large chunk of time recently trying to learn how to sail and took part in a round the world yacht race in 2016 crossing the Pacific from China to Seattle. It was horrific and amazing and I wore the same pair of pants for 25 days. The rest of the time I’ll be at the pub drinking a hoppy IPA
What’s your favourite food?
I love fine dining, sushi, tapas, prawn cocktail crisps, roast dinners, risotto, toffee crisps, fajitas, indian food, onion rings and McDonalds cheeseburgers, and I make a mean bloody mary (horseradish being the key).
What’s your favourite movie of all time?
Even with categories it's impossible to call. Wes Anderson movies always take some beating.
Where in the world would you most like to go?
South America is the only continent I’ve not been to. So there please. Oh, and Australia.
Tell us something we don’t know about you?
My pet rabbit, Snowy, appeared on the TV show 'Rainbow' back in the 70s.
